Content Marketing Lessons: KKday
Taiwan travel e-commerce platform, KKday entered the Singapore market last year and is expanding its services across Asia. By doing so they also developed several notable marketing campaigns to help build brand awareness in this market.
Let us explore the various approaches they have taken.
Following its expansion to Singapore, KKday launched a social media campaign “#taiwantrippin”. Participants were to upload a 30-second video on instagram using hashtags #taiwantrippin and #kkdaysg. Participants will stand a chance to win a seven-day holiday in Taiwan for four people worth up to S$8,000! The winner will also be entitled to one year’s supply of sponsored travel activities! How often do we get such opportunities?!
KKday’s Collaboration & Affiliate Program
KKday also has its very own collaboration program for bloggers, photographers and YouTubers. For those who love to document their travel experience and has a certain number of followers online, they will be entitled to sponsored travel activities in return for featuring KKday on their posts.
On the other hand, its Affiliate Program works by having bloggers recommend tours to their viewers. Bloggers and Influencers will get to earn commission through this shared profit scheme if their viewers engage with KKday’s services through a designated link.
Social media updates to spark wanderlust
If you’re already following KKday on its social media pages, you probably already would have been hooked onto their updates on new and exciting places to visit around the world!
KKday frequently shares articles and blog posts on their Facebook and Instagram on exciting places to visit. Their posts never fail to spark my inner wanderlust and get me craving for a getaway! (But seeing the engagement, they could probably invest some $$ in Facebook Ads)
Posts as such provide viewers with knowledge and viewers may likely engage their services to help facilitate their travel planning.
To build their brand awareness, KKday has also partnered big companies such as Grab to further expand their reach.
Here’s an example of their collaboration.
